According to APA-Economics, Aliyev informed about cooperation with Ukraine in energy sector. He noted that this cooperation has an importance in the relations between two countries: “Azerbaijan intends to deepen this cooperation, including extend SOCAR’s activity in Ukraine, network of petrol-stations, establish oil bases, extend the participation in Ukrainian oil processes”.
In turn, Savitski underlined new opportunities for development of links between two countries in fuel-energy sphere. He noted that Ukraine can organize transportation of Azeri oil to Europe, including Czech, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. Moreover, Ukraine intends to revive oil processing industry. For this purpose, it’s required to import crude oil import.
Savitski said that Ukraine intends to attend the reconstruction and modernization of WPSs in Azerbaijan: “We have experience in this sphere and can share it with Azerbaijan”.
