Azerbaijan sees 22% rise in demand for gasoline year-on-year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In January-February, 2013, 196,000 tonnes of gasoline was directed to domestic demand of Azerbaijan, up 22% compared to previous year.

The State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that during the reporting period, 196.100 tonnes of diesel (+24.7%), 83.600 tonnes of aviation fuel (+7.7%), 42.600 tonnes of bitumen (+51.1%), 37.700 tonnes of diesel fuel (+52.2%), 27.700 tonnes of liquefied gas (+38.5%), 1.200 tonnes of lubricating oils (+38.5%) and 187.800 tonnes of other petrol products (+38.3%).
