To him, annual oil extraction of Azerbaijan makes 42 mln tonnes, of which 335 mln tonnes are exported.

Abdullayev also added that currently, SOFAZ owns above $35 bn currency reserves. Total currency reserves of the country have reached $44 bn.

‘Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline has not been exploited in full capacity. Next year, oil extraction will begin in Kashagan field of Kazakhstan, and that oil will be likely to be exported through Baku-Ceyhan pipe’, noted SOCAR President.
