Azerbaijan expected to increase electric power production by 8%

Baku – APA-Economics. This year, Azerbaijan is expected to increase electric power production by 7-8%, said President of Azerenerji OJSC Etibar Pirverdiyev, APA-Economics reports.

Touching upon replacement of underground cables to overhead electric cables, Pirverdiyev noted that works were already underway in several regions and cities: ‘These works were carried out in some central cities last year and at present time, the measures are being continued’.
