Azerbaijan can extend gas export from alternative energy production

Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. Production of 1,000 MVt of energy in Azerbaijan means additional export potential of 1 bcm of gas, said the Chairman of State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources Akim Badalov.

Badalov says the strategy and tariffs plan on development of alternative and renewable energy in the country have already been submitted to the Presidential Administration. For the present, projects on utilization of alternative and renewable energy are being implemented in Gobustan and Samukh. According to plans, small power stations with the capacity of 15-20 and 30-40 MVt for a settlement and thousands of mini-stations for a building will be constructed.
