Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev has today met with BP-Azerbaijan's president Gordon Birell.
Head of Ministry’s press service Azer Mensimli told APA-Economics that the meeting focused on the results of works conducted in ACG block and Shah Deniz project and the measures considered in 2013.
Within the framework of the meeting, Birell noted that works were successfully continued on both projects as of the results of January, 2013.
Mensimli said that maintaining stability in oil extraction in ACG and works to be realized by BP-Azerbaijan in direction of increasing the extraction in the near future were discussed during the meeting. Birell stressed that the forecasts are optimistic and it gives us to hope that several shortcomings of last year would be eliminated.
Besides, the sides exchanged views on gas transported from Azerbaijan within Shah Deniz project.
