Baku – APA-Economics. Turkish Petkim Petrochemical holding has made public its financial indicators for 2012. Owner of Petkim - SOCAR told APA-Economics that in 2012, due to rise of price and sale of products, the incomes grew by 12% to 4.349 bn TL, volume of sale soared 3.6% to 1.808 mln tonnes.
Besides, it is reported that in 2011, Petkim realized $ 834 mln-export. In 2012, the company increased this figure by 25% to $ 1.041 bn, which is the highest indicator in 48-years history of the company.
In order to increase production capacity, the company invested $ 48 mln in 2012. It lasted the year with 90%-use of production capacity. Director General of the company Sadeddin Gorgud said that though the existing problems in European market, as well as decline in demand caused difficulty for the export, these figures raised thanks to access to new markets. At the same time, demand for thermoplastic materials rose 7-8% inside the country.
