Baku – APA-Economics. Today, Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov has received the delegation led by the Head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Roland Kobia.
According to Ministry of Agriculture, the meeting aims to discuss the EU Program of Budget Support to Agriculture and Rural areas development in Azerbaijan.
Abbasov appreciated the presence of EU representatives at the UN FAO’s 28th regional conference on Europe and noted that, Azerbaijan has taken serious steps for integration to Europe and EU supported Azerbaijan in different spheres of economy, as well agriculture.
The minister also informed about Azerbaijan’s achievements in agrarian sphere.
EU Program of Budget Support to Agriculture and Rural areas development in Azerbaijan was discussed at the meeting.
Kobia thanked for sincere reception and noted that, fulfilment of program was important.
