Speaking about the countries which decided to shut down the nuclear plantations G. Oettinger noted that, the gas will play a more important role as stuff in energy sphere after shutting of APCs down: “Europe purchases gas from Norway, Russia and Algeriaâ€. The demand is increasing and Europe researches the perspectives on gas import from other regions. Azerbaijan may be both supplier and transit countries in the directionâ€.
Speaking about Nabucco Oettinger noted that, EU would assist to companies for launch of South Corridor.
