Azerbaijan decreases production oil products by 1.8%

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. During January-April, 2011, Azerbaijan has decreased the production of oil products by 1.8% in comparison to a year ago.

According to State Statistical Committee, gasoline decreased by 7.1% to 372.8 thousand tons, kerosene â€“ by 2.3% to 200.4 thousand tons, diesel fuel â€“ by 6.9% to 795.7 thousand tons, lubricating oil rose 1.4 times, oil bitumen increased by 22.4%.

As of May 1, 2011, 23% down or 260.4 thousand tons of black oil fuel, down 23% from year earlier, 3.6% upper or 17.500 tons of gasoline, 3.1% upper or 16.400 tons of diesel fuel, 33.3% upper or 2,000 tons of liquid gas, 11.8% upper or 1,900 tons of lubricating oils, 1.8% upper or 5.400 tons of hard coal have been sent to the main consumers.

Note that, totally, gas extraction decreased by 3.6% to 8.4 bcm, oil extraction â€“ by 4.1% to 15.9 mln tons during the four months.
