Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Engineering-geological vessel Zohrab Aliyev of Caspian Sea Oil Fleet under the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan has departed to Nursultan Area in Kazakhstan sector of Caspian Sea.
SOCAR says according to the terms of contract between Latvia’s “Morinjgeologiya†JSC and SOCAR’s Geophysics and Geology Department, engineering-geological research works are conducted for defining of sounding and underwater subsoil, learning of its composition, installation of deep-water oil-gas platforms, including construction of other large objects.
Experts of Complex Geological and Topographical Office under the SOCAR’s Geophysics and Geology Department will drill 3 wells with 30 metres, 1 well with 80 metres and conduct 25-metre drilling works by sounding. Specialists will take a sample for investigation. Term of contract is until end of this year.
