Baku. Ahmed Yusifzade - APA. Over the last five years, Iran’s non-oil export has increased four-fold, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, APA reports with reference to the IRNA News Agency.

"The volume of non-oil exports in 2005 amounted to $ 7.83 billion and in 2010 reached $ 30 billion, so it is a clear indicator of our opportunities," Ahmadinejad said.

According to the Iranian president this year (ending March 20,2012) it is expected that non-oil export of Iran should reach $45 billion, but later can be equated to import and the figure would rise to 60 - $65 billion.

Ahmadinejad said that the government plans to create 2.5 million jobs this year and the same number in the following year.

Iran has allocated roughly $21.5 billion of investments aimed to improve the infrastructure last year and according to this year’s national budget, the government plans to invest about $47.5 billion, Ahmadinejad added.
