SOCAR intends to establish filling station network in Eastern Europe

Baku. Ali Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Number of petrol filling stations functioning under SOCAR brand will hit 95 until the end of this year, SOCAR first Vice-president Khoshbakht Yusifzade said at the 5th Caspian Oil & Gas Trading & Transportation Conference, APA reports.

To him, currently, 60 filling stations operate in Georgia: â€œIn general, SOCAR controls 2/3 of Georgiaâ€™s oil products market. There are 6 SOCAR filling stations in Azerbaijan, it is planned to increase this number up to 30 in futureâ€.

Yusifzade noted that 20 filling stations had been opened in Odessa within the framework of establishment of filling station network of SOCAR in Ukraine: â€œMoreover, SOCAR is learning investment opportunities in oil field of Ukraine. Analogical works are carried out in Romania as wellâ€.
