Baku-APA. Russia’s state-controlled gas giant Gazprom will get a stake in Wintershall’s oil and gas exploration and production projects in the North Sea for the German company’s equivalent participation in Gazprom’s projects, the companies said on Thursday, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
Wintershall will be able to take part in the development of two additional sites of the Achimovskoye deposits of Gazprom’s Urengoi gas and oil condensate field in West Siberia on a parity basis, the firms said.
"The constructive cooperation between Gazprom and Wintershall allows us to undertake the most ambitious projects from the technical point of view," the firms said.
