Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on perpetuation of memory of Nikolay Baybakov, APA reports. According to the order, on the 100th anniversary of the Hero of Socialist Labor Nikolay Konstantinovich Baybakov who contributed to the development of oil industry in Azerbaijan, Baku City Executive Power was tasked to ensure the naming one of Baku’s streets after Baybakov, building of his bust in front of school N67 in Sabunchu District, installation of a memorial plate near the administration building of the “Balakhanineft†office of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
The Ministry of Industry and Energy jointly with the Ministry of Education and SOCAR will hold a conference devoted to Baybakov’s activity.
