2.8 mln tons of Azeri oil transported via Baku-Ceyhan pipeline in February

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. During February, 2011, 2.8 mln tons of Azeri oil was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. According to APA-Economics, totally, 5.7 mln tons of oil was transported via this pipeline in January-February, 2011.

149.2 mln tons of oil was pumped into BTC since the pipeline launched. Besides, 183.138 tons of Turkmen oil was transported via tyhis pipeline, in February.

At the same time, 2.9 mln tons of Azeri oil was accessed to the world market through Ceyhan port. Of this, 1.938 mln tons was Azerbaijan’s share in profit oil.

In January-February, the volume of oil accessed to the world market through Ceyhan port made 5.5 mln tons. In general, 147.4 mln tons of Azeri oil was accessed to te world market via this pipeline since it launched.
