SOCAR decreases oil export through Novorossiysk and Ceyhan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan’s Marketing and Economic Operations Department has exported 129 448 tons of oil through Novorossiysk Port (Black Sea, Russia), 234 537 tons through Supsa port (Black Sea, Georgia) and 1 917 532 tons through Ceyhan Port (Mediterranean Sea, Turkey), in February, 2011.

Oil export through Novorossiysk Port slipped 23% compared to January, 18.8% in comparison to a year ago, through Ceyhan Port decreased by 24% compared to January, by 23.7% in comparison to a year ago.

Totally, 297 672 tons of crude oil were exported through Novorossiysk, 476 934 tons through Supsa and 3 590 896 tons through Ceyhan during January-February, 2011.
