Azerbaijan decreases petrol export in February

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan has decreased the oil products export in Fabruary, 2011.

SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department has exported 1 618 tons of gasoline, 86 415 tons of diesel fuel, 6 296 tons of aircraft fuel, 1 395 tons of heavy oil during February, 2011. The export of gasoline decreased by 18.4%, diesel fuel-by 30% and aviation-petrol-by 36.7 %, during the same period. But, the heavy oil export has been resumed.

According to SOCAR, totally, 3 601 tons of gasoline, 209 947 tons of diesel fuel, 16 251 tons of aircraft fuel and 1 395 tons of heavy oil were exported during January-February, 2011. Export of gasoline and diesel fuel decreased by 5.2 times and 23%, but aircraft fuel increased by 8.4%, compared to a year ago.
