SOCAR Georgia Gas Company establishes gas pipeline in Poti city - <font color=red>UPDATED</font>

According to APA-Economics, Georgian President Mikhael Saakashvili, Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri, Mayor of Poti, governor of Samegrelo Region, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev and other officials of SOCAR attended the ceremony.

This pipeline covers 9 residential corpuses and private sector objects. 707 potential subscribers will be supplied with gas via this pipeline.

SOCAR used polyethylene pipes during the construction of pipeline and this prolongs the exploitation term of the pipeline.

In general, 150 km gas pipeline is designed to be constructed in Poti city. 17 000 subscribers will be supplied with gas as a result of this project. According to SOCAR’s 3-year investment program, more than 500 km pipeline in Samergelo region, 1500 km pipeline in Georgia are planned to be constructed.

Remind that, SOCAR Georgia Gas Company has launched 880 km gas line and 86 subscribers have been supplied with gas.
