Foreign Oil Company in Azerbaijan implements AZN 5.4 mln compulsory payments to its staffs

The violation was revealed by 1st Regional Department of State Labor Inspectorate under the Ministry of Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.

Chief of the department Araz Bayramzadeh says that, the company has not taken the â€œsea indexâ€ into account during the calculation of salaries. Remind that, 75% must be added to salaries for the works in the sea. According to results of research, it was revealed that the 2000 staffsâ€™ salaries were AZN 5.4 mln fewer than it was before. Measures have been taken in accordance with the legislation and AZN 5.4 mln have been given back to the staffs.

According to chief of department, the monitoring will be held in other companies. The department has been received applications on this. Most of the applications belong to the staffs working in harmful working conditions and oil sectors.
