Azerbaijani President receives executive vice president of BP

Baku â€“ APA-Economics. President Ilham Aliyev has today received executive vice president of BP Andy Inglis over completion of his term. According to APA-Economics, A. Inglis noted the successful continuation of works on different projects including in Shahdeniz-2 field. He also noted that the BTC pipeline has already transported over 1bn oil barrels. The BP executive vice president assessed 2010 as the year of achievement of great successes in cooperation between BP and Azerbaijan.

In turn, the head of the state highly appreciated Inglis’s contribution to development of cooperation between BP and Azerbaijan. Stressing the success of 2010 in terms of ties between BP and Azerbaijan, the president voiced satisfaction with the volume of works carried out in that period, assessing this as the continuation of long-term partnership between Azerbaijan and BP.

Voicing satisfaction with the level of our cooperation, the head of the state said he is confident about the strategic importance of these relations and the successful cooperation in such projects as Shahdeniz, Shafag, Asiman, Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and others.
