Azerbaijan increases oil production by 9%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan increased the oil production by 9.2% during January-August, 2010.

State Statistical Committee says the gasoline rose by 1.2% to 817.5 thousand tons, lubricating oils by 2.2 times to 51.2 thousand tons. During the same time, 399.8 thousands tons kerosene and 149.2 thousands tons petroleum bitumen were produced.

The consumer were sent 340 thousands tons heavy fuel, 16.7 thousands tons gasoline, 15.5 thousands diesel fuel, 5.3 thousands petroleum bitumen, 1.3 thousands tons lubricating oil and 8.6 thousands tons hard coal.

Note that, SOCAR vice-president Elshad Nasirov says that Azerbaijan intends to export tha oil and oil production to new markets.
