Azerbaijan sees 3.8% growth in industrial production in January-August

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s industrial production reached AZN 18.3 billion during January-August, up by 3.8 compared with a year ago., said the State Statistical Committee.

Of this, 82 % was private sector, 93.4% industrial goods, 6.6% industrial services.

SSC says crude oil production rose 2.2% to 34.3 mln tons, natural gas climbed 0.9% to 11.3 cbc.

According to State Statistical Committee, the 76.5% of industrial output was produced in mining sector, 18.2 % in processing sector, 4.7% in electric energy sector, 0.6% in water supply.
