Reinhard Mitschek: â€œAzerbaijan and Iraq are expected to transport gas via Nabucco pipeline from 2015â€

Will sign a document about gas transportation, Managing Director of Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH. Reinhard Mitschek informed.

According to him Azerbaijani and Iraqâ€™s gas are expected to be transported via Nabucco pipeline by the end of 2015, Azerbaijan will pump the blue fuel from second phase of Shah Deniz project and other sources.

â€œApproximately 16-17 bln cubic meters of gas is expected to be pumped from only Shah Deniz field. In term, Iraq will pump 10 bln cubic meters of gas at the initial stage, then 20-25 bln cubic meters of gas will be transported.â€

Note that OMV (Austria), MOL (Hungary), Transgaz (Romania), Bulgargaz (Bulgaria), BOTAS (Turkey) and RWE (Germany) joined Nabucco Gas Pipeline GmbH. Consortium. Every partner has 16.67% share in this consortium.
