AGRI total cost may reach 4.5 bn Euros

According to him Azerbaijan, Georgia and Romania will establish joint venture on the project recently and the venture will draft technical-economic justification of the project for 20 months. â€œThe justification will be drafted on 3 versions. Azerbaijani gas to be sent to Romania through Georgia will be 2 bln cubic meters on 1st version, 5 bln cubic meters on 2nd version and 8 bln cubic meters on the 3rd version. The cost of the project may change between 1.2-4.5 bn Euros depending on the volume of the gas.â€

He also noted that Hungary has also joined this project. â€œHungarian and Romanian gas network will be merged by the end of the year and this will have positive impact on delivering of Azerbaijani gas to Hungary.â€
