Baku to host international forum on renewable energy sources next week

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. The 1st Renewable Energy Caucasus Forum will be held in Baku on September 7-8, 2010. The aims of the Forum are the further development and transfer of clean technologies, together with the acceleration of environmental business growth and supply base in the Caucasus Region, attracting the oil and gas companies, banks and investment institutions to further successful investments in the renewable energy industry in the Caucasus Region.

The Renewable Energy Caucasus Forum along with the International Green Business Trade Fair is planned as an annual event in Baku.

The European Commission supports the aims of the Forum. The Forum will be held under the Official Patronage of the European Commission Delegation to Azerbaijan. Mr Roland Kobia, Ambassador, Head of the European Union Delegation Republic of Azerbaijan will open the 1st Renewable Energy Caucasus Forum on September 7, 2010.

The Azerenerji JSC and The Pasha Bank have supported this very timely and unique Forum by becoming Sponsors.
