CIS summit to adopt action plan on development conception and its implementation

Sergey Prikhodko, aide to the Russian president told journalists that over 20 issues have been included into the agenda of the summit. He said that development of cooperation in the field of migration will be debated and declaration comprising coordinated policy of CIS members in this field will be adopted.
Prikhodko said that security in CIS space and ensuring rules will also be debated, the presidents will review draft agreement on combating against laundering of illegal money and financing of terrorism, draft agreement on the theft of historical works and ensuring their return, interstate program on combating against crimes, terrorism, extremism and violence and program on cooperation in combating against illicit turnover of narcotics and psychotropic agents.
The presidential aide said organizational works will also be debated and the date of venue of the next summit will be determined.
Though determination of the new chairman of CIS Council of Heads of States was planned, Prikhodko said this is a very delicate problem.
There is still uncertainty in the issue concerning CIS executive secretary.
Mentioning that Vladimir Rushayloâ€™s tenure expires, Prikhodko said new candidate will be put forward for this post. /APA/
