The traditional parade was attended by Nazim Ibrahimov, chairman of State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad , Nabi Shansoy, Turkish Ambassador to US, Mehmet Samsar, Turkish Consul General to New York, representative to UN Baki Ilkin, the representatives of Azerbaijan and Turkish Diasporas, in general by some 15,000 participants, APA reports.
The unexpected heavy rain has had its impact on the number of peoples joining the march.
Nabi Shasoy called all Turkish people to unite as one fist.
General Consul Mehmet Samsar stressed that the parade started 26 years ago by 100 Turks now attracts ten thousands of people.
Siger Azerin, Turkish arts men Matin Shaturk and Nadida Sultan played during the parade. /APA/
