Gulamhuseyn Alibayli: We hope Venice Commission will discuss proposals of Azadliq alliance

We think the Venice Commission will debate the proposals of Azadliq alliance regarding amendments to Electoral Code at the meeting scheduled to May 30, Chairman of the Azadliq allianceâ€™s legal commission Gulamhuseyn Alibayli told the APA. He said the alliance demands forming election commissions on parity taking into account the proposals of international organizations and included it into the project he has prepared.
Alibayli said he sent the project to the Venice Commission and the Commission has already received it.
â€œWe also sent our proposals to OSCE and Council of Europe. And we regard these organizations will consider the project carefully,â€ he said. /APA/
