“Georgian parliamentary delegation’s visit to Baku is related to the then President Heydar Aliyev’s birthday,†Georgian parliamentarian of Azeri descent Kamal Muradkhanov told APA’s Georgia bureau exclusively.
According to the parliamentarian, 20 members of Georgian parliament will arrive in Baku to commemorate the then Azerbaijani President.
“Regrettably, there are no opposition members among them,†he said.
Mr.Muradkhanov said this visit is the example of high-level relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
“As you know, a monument will be erected for Heydar Aliyev in Tbilisi. This demonstrates our respect to the Azerbaijani people and the country,†the MP concluded. /APA/
