Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallim will visit Azerbaijan this year, Azerbaijani honorary consul to Lebanon Nazih Gassub told the APA. He said that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov invited his counterpart while visiting Syria.
The issues discussion of which started in Syria will be focused on during the visit. They will focus their attention on opening of Syrian embassy in Azerbaijan. The embassy is planned to be opened after summer.
