Members of South Azerbaijan Awakening Movement (SANAM) who resigned last week made a statement, former chief of SANAM America-Canada Organization Huseyn Turkelli told the APA. The statement publicized the causes of confrontation within the organization and demanded to stop political intrigues.
“We had to publicize chief of the movement Mahmudeli Chohraganli’s activity when we resigned from SANAM. Though there is much to say. Taking into account our enemies we see no need to postpone it. Despite the fact that we had a great role in foundation and successes of SANAM, we stated that we can no more work with Mahmudeli Chohraganli, who is inclined to dictatorship. We refuse our rights only taking into account the nation’s interests. We hope that the opposite side will share our position,” the statement says. /APA/
