OSCE representative on freedom of the media visits Azerbaijan

The conference is organized by Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and Organization of the Islamic Conference. Representatives from about 50 countries and international organizations will attend the conference.
Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, secretary general of Organization of Islamic Conference and Ambeyi Ligabo, UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression will also participate in the conference.
Miklos Haraszti will have meetings with Azerbaijani officials, representatives of NGOs and media and hold debates on the state of freedom of media and expression in the country.
Anna Karostraitel, OSCE specialist of the Office on Freedom of opinion and expression for Caucasus will accompany Miklos Haraszti. /APA/
