Scientific conference held on mass graves in Guba
Stressing that mass graves found in Guba will remove the false propaganda of Armenians, Ahmadov said all possible measures will be taken in this direction. He criticized the ambassadors of several countries to Azerbaijan and the representatives of international organizations.
Ahmadov said though the representatives of diplomatic corpse have been invited, majority of them, especially the ambassadors of European countries did not attend the meeting.
“Not only Armenians, but also others take advantage on the Armenians’ false historyâ€, he said.
Deputy director of Azerbaijan National Science Academy’s Archeological and Ethnographical Institute Najaf Museyibli informed the conference attendees on the results of investigations on mass graves found in Guba. He stated that two wells were found in the area where graves were revealed and there are a lot of human skeletons here.
The scientist said that skeletons due to different age groups - old, young and children and they were thrown in sum. Museyibli also informed the conference attendees of Institute’s proposals.
BSU’s professor Anar Isgandarov said they will continue investigating and analyzing bones.
The politician Rovshan Novruzoglu spoke of the necessity of joint declaration of Republic Prosecutors, National Security, Health and Interior Ministries on the issue.
He said that if the work is carried out in old methods, the propagation will be carried inside Azerbaijan. Parliamentarian Vahid Ahmadov said that there are several graves in Guba and they know their place. The parliamentarian said that Guba inhabitants were subject to massacres by Armenians in three territories, he regards that corresponding institutions should start investigation in those areas.
