The ruling YAP’s (New Azerbaijan Party) region and city organizations held a conference, parliamentarian, and member of the political board of the party Siyavush Novruzov said, APA reports. He said that they exchanged views on the results of election conferences. Novruzov said preparations for 2008 presidential elections were also debated at the conference.
“The main aim is to define party activists to work with voters. We will provide training for them. Different institutions of the US will also attend the training. They must be ready for elections so that they can implement election procedures,†he said.
Novruzov said that election plan is being prepared at present.
He noted that region and city organizations have to improve some headquarters and establish infrastructure and underlined that this process start a year before the elections. /APA/
