According to him the meeting in the parliament building was attended by President Officeâ€™s law departmentâ€™s chief Fuad Alasgarov too. Right activists raised questions like discharge of sick prisoners, declaration of amnesty, permitting some immigrants to return home, importance of new pardon decree.
â€œThe member of the Working group, chairman of parliamentary standing commission for legal policy and statehood Ali Huseynov said the draft law on amnesty is being worked out now. Taking that into consideration, we suppose that amnesty act could be declared by autumnâ€. Right activists applied president to sign new pardon decree by the time the amnesty declaration is made.
Chingiz Ganizada said new pardon decree is expected by June. He said the Working Groupâ€™s meeting was effective and this format is to be continued./APA/
