Exhibition of Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjaviâ€™s original manuscripts held in Baku - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

APA reports that the unparalleled manuscripts collected from more than 40 countries were demonstrated at the exhibition for the first time. At the same time, â€œBibleâ€ belonging to the 12th century, Al-Quran of various periods and cultures, the manuscripts written by the people of India, Egypt, Iran and Middle Asia to the Nizamiâ€™s â€œKhamseâ€ and the illustrations designed with gold were also demonstrated at the exhibition.

Philip Verveer, Ambassador-at-Large for Global Womenâ€™s Issues of the US Department of State, Melanne Verveer, Department of Stateâ€™s coordinator for International Communications & Information Policy, ambassadors of the US, Egypt and Kirghizstan in Azerbaijan and representatives of several state structures participated in the exhibition.

The guests were given detailed information about the manuscripts.

Following the exhibition, the video on the works done by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center in a short time was demonstrated at the largest hall of the museum.

Mrs. Melanne Verveer was awarded with the Nizami Ganjavi International Prize for her merits towards the solution of womenâ€™s problems and young girlsâ€™ education in poor countries by the order of Board of Trustees.

In her turn, Mrs. Melanne Verveer thanked for appreciation of her activity and noted that she was proud of becoming familiar with the Nizami Ganjaviâ€™s manuscripts.
