“If the Americans had not abandoned the agreements reached in Anchorage, we would have already been living without war for a year,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, agreements were reached at the summit in Anchorage, and Russia accepted the US proposal without changes.
“There was an agreement there. When a proposal is made and it is accepted without changes, is that not an agreement? Of course, it is an agreement. At least among honest people,” the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized.
Responding to a question about the possible duration of the “Special Military Operation,” Lavrov said that Russia is not setting any artificial goals and is doing everything possible to protect the lives of civilians and its military personnel.
