"Law enforcement agencies have uncovered a crime directed against Armenia's statehood, as well as its security and stability. They should be awarded state honors," said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a government meeting, APA reports, citing TASS.
"The crime directed against Armenia's statehood, security, and stability has been uncovered. Naturally, the implementation of this plan was prevented. I congratulate all the employees of the law enforcement structures," he said.
Additionally, the Armenian Prime Minister revealed that he discussed this matter with President Vahagn Khachaturyan earlier in the morning.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that, depending on the situation, extensive materials have been published and he has no further comments on this.
Pashinyan also expressed confidence that the investigation will be conducted effectively and the public will be informed about its results.
The Armenian Prime Minister said that discussions on social networks about the events in the country have attracted his attention:
“Some users say that a new October 27 incident was prevented in Armenia, while others have opened discussions about the possibility of preventing the events of the same date in 1999. I hope that law enforcement agencies will answer this question.”
