Baku – APA-Economics. Oil prices hovered below $92 a barrel Thursday in Asia as signs of improving U.S. demand pushed crude to a two-year high, Seattle Times reported.

Benchmark oil for February delivery rose 6 cents to $91.92 a barrel midday Singapore time in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Oil last settled higher in October 2008. Crude gained 75 cents to settle at $91.86 on Wednesday.

In London, Brent crude was up 4 cents to $98.32 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
