US and European Stocks rise

Baku - APA-Economics. the Dow Jones industrial average was up 46.81, or 0.41 per cent, at 11,457.13. If the index closes above 11,440.08, it will set a new high for the year. It last closed at that level on Nov 5, Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The Standard and Poor’s 500 index was 4.62 higher, by 0.37 per cent, at 1,245.02. The S&P 500 closed on Friday at 1,240.40, the third straight day that it reached a new high for the year.
The Nasdaq composite index had risen 0.85 points, or 0.03 per cent, at 2,638.39. It has closed at new annual highs for the last eight days.
In London, the FTSE 100 index climbed 0.82 per cent to 5,860.75 points and in Frankfurt the DAX rose 0.33 per cent to 7,029.39 points, its highest close of the year.
In Paris, the CAC 40 advanced 0.91 per cent to 3,892.44 points.
