Short-term notes auction falls through

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. On October 21, 2009 an auction on placement of short-term notes of Central Bank (CB) with the state registration number 50104121S, total volume AZN 4 000 000, volume put-up to the auction AZN 3 000 000, face value per note AZN 200, and turnover period 28 days was carried out on Baku Stock Exchange.
The volume of submitted bid by 1 participator was 3 000 600 AZN at face value.
The bid was submitted with 99.9226% (YTM 1.00%) price.
As the number of the investors participating in the auction was less than 2 the competitive price was not formulated and Central Bank canceled the results of the auction.
