Director of Isgandariyya library Ismail Serageldi meets with Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfez Garayev

The director of one of the famous libraries of the world-Isgandariyya library, Doctor Ismail Serageldi visited Azerbaijan today, APA reports.
Doctor Ismail Serageldi visiting Alley of the Honors and Martyrsâ€™ Avenue in the morning, then met with Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfez Garayev. The guest saying that the visit aims at developing relations between libraries stressed his satisfaction with the visit in Baku.
â€œRelations between Azerbaijan and Egypt are developing rapidly. Our visit aims at establishing mutual cooperation between Isgandariyya library and Azerbaijan National Library. I am sure that we will visit several libraries and exchange experience in the framework of the visit,â€ he said.
Ismayil Serageldiâ€™s visit program covers several meetings in Baku State University, Khazar University, Azerbaijan National Library after Mirza Fatali Akhundov.
Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfez Garayev addressing the event appreciated the visit positively.
â€œIt is a positive case that relations between Egypt and our country are developing not highly only in political and economic level, but at the same time in cultural level. I am sure that issue on having mutual exhibitions among libraries and sharing technical experience in the framework of the visit will be discussed,â€ he said.
Abulfez Garayev presented carpet in national style to the guest and invited him to events scheduled to be held in Baku in 2008. The guest presented the catalogue of Isgandariyya library and publications about library to the minister. /APA/
