Iran and P5+1 fail to advance in drafting text of comprehensive agreement

Iran and P5+1 (five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany) failed to achieve any progress in drfting the text of a comprehensive agreement at the negotiations’ round in Vienna. This stated Deputy Minister of Foreign affairs of Iran Abbas Araghchi.

“No substantial progress in drafting the agreement project has been achieved at this round,” he noted.

Araghchi added that the negotiators also failed to set the dates of the next round of Iran-P5+1 talks.

“The dates of the round scheduled for June haven’t been set,” he said.

However, Abbas Araghchi has noted, that with due respect from the six world powers towards Iran, hope to reach a comprehensive agreement on Iran’s nuclear program until July 20 still remains.
