Baku – APA. The Commission formed to investigate the causes of Tu -154 airplane’s crash, flying from Tehran to Yerevan in 2009, concluded that the crash happened due to the Russian company designer and support personnel, RIA Novosti reported with a reference to statement of the prosecutor of Tehran Ghazi Shahriari.
Tu - 154M airplane owned by the Iranian company Caspian Airlines crashed on July 16 of 2009 near Qazvin (200 kilometers from Teheran). All passengers died. There were 153 passengers on board, including two children, and 15 crew members (citizens of Armenia, Iran, and Georgia). There were six Armenian citizens, two out of six were crew members. In total there were 35 passengers who had Armenian surnames.
