United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in Riyadh on Thursday as part of his Middle East tour after visiting Israel earlier in the day, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Sunak is expected to meet with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in order to discuss the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip as he seeks to call on the region's leaders to prevent the clash from spreading to other parts of the Middle East.
Earlier, the prime minister met with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu and the country's President Isaac Herzog, when he reaffirmed Britain's support for Israel and assured that Palestinians in Gaza are "victims of what Hamas has done."
