Türkiye’s intelligence chief, Ibrahim Kalin, met with senior Qatari and Egyptian officials in Cairo to discuss the latest developments in Gaza, according to security sources on Tuesday, APA reports.
Kalin held talks with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and Egypt's General Intelligence Service head Hassan Rashad as mediator and guarantor parties.
The sides also reviewed ways to intensify joint efforts in cooperation with the US.
The sides also agreed to strengthen coordination with the Civil Military Coordination Center (CMCC) to remove obstacles to the continuation of the ceasefire and prevent further violations.
Kalin reiterated that Türkiye would continue to stand with the Palestinian people with all its means.
