Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Türkiye, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports, citing the Turkish media.
It was noted that the Turkish President invited Vladimir Putin to Türkiye during the meeting held within the framework of the 25th Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
“We would be pleased to see you in our country as soon as possible,” the Turkish leader emphasized.
Erdoğan also spoke about the relations between the two countries and stated that technical meetings regarding Türkiye’s financial institutions are progressing positively.
The Turkish President also touched upon the construction of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant and cooperation issues, and emphasized that the project is progressing as planned.
