The Turkish Ministry of Interior has authorized an investigation into Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş and his special secretary Nevzat Uzunoğlu on charges of "abuse of official authority" and "neglect of inspection duty" in connection with allegations of legal violations in concert expenditures, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
According to a report prepared by the relevant authorities, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) suffered a loss of 154,453,221.60 Turkish lira in connection with the procurement of 32 concert services.
