"1.4 million tonnes of oil are transported from Kazakhstan to Turkey annually through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline," said Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, APA reports.
According to him, his country welcomes the intention of the Turkish oil company to operate in the Kazakh market:
"At the same time, we are interested in taking advantage of the investment opportunities of Turkish companies, their experience in diversifying energy sources and building power plants."
The head of state added that the parties are ready to jointly implement large projects.
